For just a little while Thunderous MidNight knew rainbow glory
Ahh ‘tis true that while the rainbow shown in all her majesty splendour
The showers were ceasing not, for sometimes, ‘tis a season of the soul to mourn
Droplets of dew could hear the call of, “Daylight In The Swamp,”
While they on the newest tender buds of summer were given to glisten
Forever from on heavenly high the moisture feel.. gently ever.. ever gentle
Life abounded even as growth leading on to further stages was taking hold
Those further stages where maturity gives way…
When soil becomes enriched as the petals loose their richest essence
Ahh sweet the perfume of the woodland’s roads
Come away and ride with me…
Breath deeply of aire mingled with blossoms of loves bittersweet passion
And now it is that night is coming on
With it too, another storm in the distance is a rumbling
Once again it would appear, we’re in for a Thunderous MidNight.
